Catherine Hamm
Integrative Counselling
Catherine lives in Whitstable, having moved here in 2009 from St. Albans in Hertfordshire. She loves being by the sea and enjoys walking her dog Benji, in all weathers due to the changing landscape. Whitstable is a lovely friendly place to live! Â Catherine also enjoys being near to Canterbury, with its history, quaint shops, cobbled streets, and beautiful cathedral.
Having been inspired by various similar roles helping and supporting others, Catherine’s passion about counselling lead her to train to become a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor, graduating in 2018 (Dip. Couns). Catherine found her passion in counselling adults through her four years of training and enjoys working with the local community, having worked for both Canterbury Counselling Services and currently, Herne Bay Counselling Services.
Catherine’s training and client experience to date have seen Catherine working with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, bereavement, autism, ADHD as well as many other presenting issues.
Catherine is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), as well as The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society.
